Our Meetings are held Bi-Monthly on the Fourth Thursday of the month in Abravanel Hall at 3:00pm. We also try to have one off site visit to a location of interest to our membership.

• Typically, we have a speaker at our meeting who will address issues from their own military experiences, past military careers, and often what they have done for their brother Veterans. We have residents who have taken on personal veteran issues such as supporting Veteran's families through the Camp Pendelton Thrift Shop, PTSD issues such as the purchase and training of Service Dogs and the list goes on.

• Our mission is to keep our Village Veterans advised of current legislation that might affect them, support veterans less fortunate than ourselves. Statistics show that there are still thousands of homeless veterans in San Diego County alone! What a sad state of affairs. And what can we do about it?

• Keep abreast of all issues that impact ALL veterans, including those of us who live in Ocean Hills.

• Volunteer for the multitude of opportunities available both herre and outside the village that can impact Veterans and Veteran families.
